BBC has posted clickable map of region of conficts. Click on yellow area on the map to find out more about each of these conflicts. Why are people fighting? How long have the wars been going on? And how many have died? According to the article, every minute, two people are killed in conflicts around the world. That means 120 people are dying an hour or 2880 people per day which results in 1051200 people are dying every year because of war.
